Have You Come Up With a Good Nautical Pun Yet?
This appears to be the type of name that came to mind naturally as the owner tried to think of a decent name for the marina’s new member. People kept asking him whether he had thought of a decent one yet, so he just started saying this. The moniker stuck, and after a few hull stickers, they declared it official. “‘Fraid Knot” could be a joke about ropes and knots, but based on the image below, it could also be an answer to the inquiry, “Has the lake melted yet?”
How Long Will it Be?
If you’re seated on a bench or at a table and look over to see a ship called “Kinda Mine,” you’ll begin to think. Is it “Kinda” because the owner still needs to repay the loans they took out to buy it? Are they still making payments, implying that the ship is still partly owned by the bank? Unlike many of the other ships we’ve seen here, this one has no nautical puns – or any puns at all. It seems almost philosophical. How does something genuinely become yours?
